Weddings can be an extraordinarily stressful time for those very people who should be extraordinarily happy. Calm Kallahs' sole raison d'etre is eliminating stress and maximizing happiness by whatever means possible. When the company was founded in 2002, the only service provided was "bridal attendant," the bride's shadow who took care of all pesky details that would irritate the bride, such as packing a bag for any "bridal emergencies" that might come up, such as a stain or a tear in the wedding gown. From there, we branched out into helping with the planning process from start to finish. Currently, we provide a wide range of wedding planning and support services. Our website contains both professionally written articles as well as peer support bulletin boards, including an anonymous board where nervous blushing brides can discreetly ask questions about "Intimate Matters." Future plans include launching an annual bridal show in New York City. Also being considered are a quarterly magazine and a charity for underprivileged brides.
